ABOUT US

Institute of Sports Medicine (IOSM) is a boutique Sport and Exercise Medicine Clinic based in Mt Claremont at HBF Stadium. Dr Carmel Goodman, one of its founding members and Chief Medical Officer at WAIS, consults on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Dr Jonathon Charlesworth, a past Australian Men's Hockey Player, consults on Tuesday and Thursday. Both are doctors trained in the speciality of Sport and Exercise Medicine, accredited with ACSEP, the Australasian College and Sport and Exercise Physicians. Both have worked extensively with State and National level athletes but are experts in musculoskeletal diagnosis and management for people of all activity levels.
